We are Paper Moon Trio. Three voices, violin, guitar and ukulele. We invite you into a world where nostalgia warms the heart, rhythm makes the soul dance, and even an ordinary moment turns into magic.

Three women with rhythm at heart

Three voices.
One harmony.

We found one another through a shared desire to explore a world of bygone days, where elegance and refinement come first, songs hold poetry and melodies have depth. Our home was the 1920s – HOT JAZZ and the Bratislava Hot Serenaders orchestra.

The girls became ladies, and our repertoire grew to embrace further decades. Our arrangements for three-part vocals, ukulele, guitar and violin have a gentle, welcoming character, yet are fresh and full of energy. The name that best captures our sound is:

Paper Moon Trio draws inspiration from renowned vocal trios such as the Andrews Sisters, the Mills Brothers and the Boswell Sisters. We also bring an authentic touch to Slovak and Czech songs made famous by Allanovy Sestry, Tri dievčatká, Včielky and Sestry Skovajsovy.

What music do you play?

Vintage jazz and swing from the 1920s to the 1950s. Alongside international melodies, we revisit Slovak and Czech songs and the sound of the vocal trios of that era.

What occasions do you play for?

Concerts and festivals, your wedding, awards ceremonies and gala evenings, company parties and private celebrations. We also love bringing live music to hotels and spas, and specialise in performances for senior residences, where our concerts can also be considered a music therapy activity.

What makes your sound special?

Three female voices in close harmony, accompanied by violin, ukulele and guitar. We create our own arrangements from original recordings, with respect for their style and a touch of our own. The sound of Paper Moon Trio is gentle and welcoming, yet fresh and full of energy.
